General

Corona virus

Fysio Bezuidenhout follows the RIVM guidelines and advices from the government and therefore, starting March 24 we will continue our treatments in digital vorm and  at distance.

Only in very urgent cases we will be able to perform traditional therapy.

Is your practice wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the clinic is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters and provides access for parents with strollers and people using walkers.

How fast can I start treatment?

Usually you can start quickly. Generally, we don’t have a waiting list.

Is it possible to be treated by a female therapist because of my religious background?

Yes, please indicate any preferences while making your appointment. We employ both male and female therapists.

Appointment

I want to make an appointment. Do I need a medical referral from my doctor?

No, you don’t. For several years now a medical referral is no longer required in the Netherlands.

How can I make an appointment?

Either by phone (070) 382 09 50 or online through the appointment form.

Can I select my therapist of choice?

Yes, you can make your preference known while making your appointment.

What happens during the first appointment and what do I have to bring with me?

At your first appointment our receptionist or one of our physiotherapists will do an intake and record personal details (such as: name, date of birth, social security number (BSN) and insurance details). It is highly recommended you bring a passport or other personal ID and your insurance card on your first visit.

Your first appointment consists of a screening, intake and examination. This is an extensive interview during which you and your therapist will discuss and record your complaints and determine whether physiotherapy is the appropriate treatment for you.

After examination the therapist will create a treatment plan considering your wishes, physical situation and possibilities.

With treatment, advice and exercises our therapist will make you feel better and enable you to accomplish more.

Is it possible to cancel an appointment?

Yes, you can cancel an appointment by phone (070) 382 09 50, by using the form on the website or through info@fysiobezuidenhout.nl. You will be charged for any missed appointment if not cancelled 24 hours in advance.

Rates and restitution

Will my health insurance reimburse treatment?

In the Netherlands basic health insurance only offers limited coverage for physiotherapy. Many people therefore take supplemental insurance that will usually reimburse a fixed number of visits per year. It is your own responsibility to check the details of your coverage.

How many visits are covered by my health insurance?

The number of visits covered by your supplemental health insurance varies. We advise you to check your insurance policy or contact your insurer for details.

How is my health insurance billed or my visits?

Your visits are billed monthly to your insurer. Most insurers will provide you with a summary thereof.

How much does physiotherapy treatment cost?

The cost of treatment depends on contractual agreements with your health insurer. In case you do not have (enough) coverage please consult our up-to-date price list
